The incumbent will be responsible for handling the costing and billing for our construction projects (e.g., buildings, infrastructure, etc.). He will be responsible for ensuring our projects are financially controlled, from initial estimates to final payment.

Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:

1.       Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for tenders.

2.       Take measurements from drawings and on-site to calculate quantities (take-off).

3.       Ability to process RA (Running Account) bills and interim payments for clients and subcontractors.

4.       Conduct joint measurements with contractors and consultants to verify quantities executed.

5.       Handle rate analysis for new items.

6.       Manage and price variation orders (VOs) and claims.

7.       Monitor site progress and prepare monthly project cost reports.

8.       Finalize contractor bills and work on project final accounts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: 

Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) / BTech in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying or Higher Qualification in Engineering.

Certification in AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), will be considered as an added advantage.

Age:

Maximum 45 years as on the last date of submission of application to PSPC.

Experience:

At least 10 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on building or infrastructure projects with minimum 3 years’ experience with Main Client/Consultant.

1. Position is on contract basis for three (03) years, extendable subject to requirement and performance.
